The “village” of Angelopoulos
__Lost in the Waters of Kerkini
安哲的村庄——“Angelochori”(安哲电影《哭泣的草原》取景地)是迄今为止在希腊设立的最大的电影装置,也是欧洲最大的装置之一。它由已故布景设计师 Giorgos Patsas(1944-2018 年)设计,每一个细节都由制作公司 CL Productions 制作。在 Theodoros Angelopoulos 及其同事的严密监督下,一共建造了92 间房屋,村庄的教堂、社区商店和两层楼的咖啡馆,全部运输安装,没有地基。
摄影师 Christina(Χριστίνα Παπαφράγκου)在 2001 年至 2002 年期间用她的镜头捕捉了电影“哭泣的草原”的拍摄地以及在 Kerkini 建造“村庄”的重要瞬间,部分摄影作品随后在塞雷斯、塞萨洛尼基和其他地方展出,题为:哭泣的湖。
Remembering Theodoros Angelopoulos (1935-2012)

Theodoros Angelopoulos, the renowned Greek filmmaker died as he had lived, making movies. In an absurd moment that might have come from one of his films, he was accidentally struck by a motorcyclist on January 24th, while preparing a scene of his latest film, The Other Sea. The horrific death of the man universally referred to as Theo was especially disheartening given the current cultural malaise in Greece, a time when many Greeks are echoing Theo’s query in The Suspended Step of the Stork (1991), “How many borders do we have to cross to reach home?”

我记得几年前在电影节上偶然听来得一个笑话,一个对另一个人说:“你懂的,看一部西奥·安哲罗普洛斯的电影,开始时你看表是6:00整,三小时后电影结束,你再看表是6:05分”。这虽只是谈笑,但若细想,此番嘲讽又有微妙的妥贴之处:安哲的确精于“锻造”那样一类电影———“时间感”和“历史感”完美停滞的电影。
